CREATING WORK.

RESTORING ECONOMIES.

Who We Are

We exist to help rebuild household economies and the neighborhood economy through supportive employment, social enterprise, and meaningful work.

Many adults in our community face barriers to employment shaped by trauma, incarceration, addiction recovery, unstable housing, or gaps in work history. Traditional employment systems often overlook these realities.

Restore Employment provides supportive employment, where work is paired with on the job training in one of our social enterprises, training, classes and care navigation so individuals can stabilize and remove barriers to future flourishing while they grow.

Participants gain:

• meaningful paid work
• job skills and leadership development
• individualized support and mentorship
• pathways to long-term employment and financial stability

Work becomes more than a paycheck. It becomes a pathway to dignity, stability, and renewed purpose.

Rebuilding circular Economy

The economic challenges facing Northeast Oklahoma City did not happen by accident. Decades of redlining, disinvestment, and structural racism redirected businesses, capital, and opportunity away from this community.

Restore Employment works to rebuild what was lost by creating supportive employment and launching neighborhood-rooted businesses.

Our goal is to restore a circular neighborhood economy where jobs, businesses, and investment strengthen the local community.

When residents can work, earn, and spend locally:

• families gain stability
• neighborhood businesses grow
• wealth begins circulating locally again
• communities move toward long-term flourishing

Rebuilding household economies and rebuilding the neighborhood economy must happen together. When both are restored, communities can flourish again.

Restore Employment creates jobs through social enterprises — mission-driven businesses designed to serve the neighborhood while providing supportive employment opportunities.

These businesses operate in real markets and generate real revenue while creating accessible jobs for individuals rebuilding their lives.

Our enterprises provide opportunities in areas such as:

• food and grocery operations
• culinary training and food production
• urban agriculture and farm operations
• neighborhood service businesses

By launching and growing businesses rooted in the community, we create sustainable job opportunities that strengthen both people and place.
